How warm is Lake Chrissie?

The water is warmest in January, around 23 °C at the surface, and coldest in July, around 10 °C. The surface averages 20 °C or more from November to March: comfortable for most swimmers.

It does not normally freeze in winter.

On the shore, afternoons reach 26 °C on average in December and 16 °C in June. The driest month is June (9 mm of rain), the wettest January (148 mm).
