How warm is Lake Togo?

The water is warmest in May, around 28 °C at the surface, and coldest in June, around 27 °C. The surface averages 20 °C or more from January to December: comfortable for most swimmers.

It does not normally freeze in winter.

On the shore, afternoons reach 33 °C on average in February and 28 °C in July. The driest month is January (14 mm of rain), the wettest June (172 mm).
